MorseGen Keyer - KE5HHU

The MorseGen keyer circuit is intended to drive an FT-817 or similar IF radio.

It has also been adapted for use with an Pin Absorptive Modulator circuit to key an ID for use in a beacon.

The MorseGen runs on a Microchip® PIC16F88 CPU and can store an ID with location as well as a 95 character message.

MorseGen performs a text to Morse code conversion to drive a keyer output at various selectable code speeds from 5wpm to 24wpm.

MorseGen is setup to loop at selectable intervals to key an ID, an ID followed by a message, or an ID followed by a tone.

MorseGen communicates through a serial port to any terminal emulator. The ID string and message can be edited through the serial interface.
